My AC Adapter Connector (where the AC cord plugs into the computer) is loose and causes the screen to pulse, as if between battery source and AC source. I just got the Jack replaced in Dec, because it burned out. it was still loose after that and before I bought it in. I have to play around with it and pull the plug to the side so it makes connection. It doesn't make connection when the plug is in straight. Can it be fixed?

my laptop turns on, only one problem, the screen is dark. It only turns regular when I close and open it back, but that only last for about 2 seconds. I don\'t know what the problem is, please help me.

Where can I get an Alienware D9T/D900T Motherboard? My system always ran too hot and one day it finally died. Alienware won't sell me a board. I have asked them on and off for almost 2 years now and they always tell me that they're "out of stock". I paid $4000 for this thing! What is the deal???

How big of a hard drive can I put in my ThinkPad T61?

My original 100GB is still running fine, but I need more space. There are several laptop hard drives available and I can not figure out which drive is best for me. I would like the biggest, fastest hard drive available.

I have a ThinkPad R40 laptop that has video problems. The LCD displays lots of colored lines. I connected the laptop to an external monitor and it has the same problem. If the video card is bad an I buy another one?

I have an IBM ThinkPad A31 Laptop Computer. I have no video on the LCD screen but I get perfect video on an external monitor. I have been told it may be the inverter or the backlight.

Please help.

Why will my IBM ThinkPad R32 not recognize the CDROM?

My IBM ThinkPad R32 laptop will not recognize the CDROM drive when it is inserted. I tried a working DVD drive in it and it would not read that, either.

What happens when you drill through a laptop’s LCD? We didn’t know the answer to this one, but thankfully there is a video of it online!

I called Dell to purchase a replacement disk drive carrier and case
cover.

I was told by "customer service" that unless I purchase the hard disk
also, they would not sell me a drive carrier.

I called Sony looking for a replacement screen for my laptop that I just bought from them 6 months ago. Due to an unfortunate incident, it is cracked. They wanted an outrageous amount of money for the screen, so I wanted to shop around, but they will not give me a part number! The rep told me they would have to charge e a $5 research fee. The part number was sitting right there in front of her and she wouldn’t read it off. I guess they figure I am going to buy the part somewhere else. Well, I am! Now how do I get the Sony part number?

The hard drive on my Dell Inspiron 9600 laptop failed and a Dell rep told me that I needed to get a hard drive directly from them or my system may not function correctly. A friend told me any old hard drive will work. Dell wants $195 for a 30GB hard drive with a 90 day warranty but my friend offered me one for $25. The original drive in my laptop was made by IBM. I would like a bigger one anyways. What is the deal?
